Dr. Lee has always been a cat lover since she was little, and she was always the kid who brought sick stray cats home.  Over the years, the desire to be able to help the strays inspired her to pursue her goal of becoming a feline veterinarian!  She graduated from Florida State University with a Biology degree, and then graduated with Honors from the College of Veterinary Medicine at University of Florida.

While in veterinary school, Dr. Lee served as the President of the student chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), and was an advocate for promoting feline education and hands-on experience for her fellow students.  She worked closely with feline expert Dr. Levy and had published journals in the Journal of American Veterinary Medical Association.  At graduation, Dr. Lee was recognized for her excellence in feline medicine and surgery by the AAFP.

Dr. Lee was an active volunteer for Operation Catnip, a local TNR (trap-neuter-return) program for feral cats, while she was at school.  After graduation, she continues to be a volunteer of TNR program at Coalition of Tampa where she also served on the Board of Directors for several years.

Dr. Lee has a strong passion for feline medicine and worked at a local feline hospital for several years.  She is a member of AAFP and AVMA.  She and her husband Jimmy have two young kids, Gracie and Aaron, and share their home with three cats, Whisper, Nina, and Charlotte.  They also keep a salt water fish tank to entertain the cats!  >^ ..^<
